Create Your Own Map

Follow these steps to start your own map with the national parks you’ve visited so far.

  1. Select the ‘Additions’ > ‘Upload (Copy/Paste) Spreadsheet’ menu item on your map, or
  2. Next, click the ‘Map My Spreadsheet’ button.
  3. Then, upload your file. In addition to the file, there is an option to specify what kind of markers you would like to add. Select ‘Marker Pin.’
  4. Confirm the details of your upload based on the columns in your spreadsheet.
  5. To add labels, click ‘Map’ > ‘Settings’ > ‘Markers Display.’ Next to “Label markers using field,” choose the field you want to label your map with.
  6. To change the pin to a tree or another icon, click ‘Map’ > ‘Marker Icons’ and then upload an image for the marker pin color you want to replace. Click ‘Submit.’
