As the weather gets warmer, spring cleaning is in full effect. With that comes an influx of yard, estate, and garage sales. Bargain hunters can make the most of the season by using a mapping tool to sketch out where and when all the yard sales in their area are happening on a handy map.
With ZeeMaps, you can even crowdsource data points to add to your map so everyone in the neighborhood can increase foot traffic to their sale. With a few simple steps, we make it easy to start a collaborative map. Check out some of our community’s yard sale maps below, and then learn how to create your own!
Yard Sale Map Examples
1. Arizona Yard Sale Map
This map includes detailed descriptions of what type of goods each yard sale will feature, time, date, and location information. Each marker pin is the same color, but you could use a color-coding system to better identify a specific attribute of the sale.
For example, one color could indicate yard sales on Saturday and the other could indicate those that will take place on Sunday.
2. Estrella Garage Sale Map
This crowd sourced map shows the location of dozens of garage sales, all organized on the same day. Each pin shows the exact address of the sale, and includes a description of the items available for sale and the condition of items. Community members could make a whole day out of hopping from pin to pin, scouring for good deals on pre-loved items.

3. Kansas Garage Sales
Another example of this is a map that shows off yard sales in the Valley Center, Kansas area. These are color-coded by region, allowing shoppers to filter by the area of the city they’re interested in traveling to.
4. United Kingdom Jumble Sale Map
Residents in Upper Walthamstow, UK, can benefit from this “jumble sale” map. Some residents included helpful details about what shoppers can find at their sale.
5. West Seattle Garage Sales
This Seattle garage sale map includes over 100 addresses in the region that are hosting garage sales. Similar to some of the other examples we’ve seen, this map also includes a description of the types of items available. Some of the listings even include information about pricing and sizing (of clothing, for example).
Requesting that participants in your crowd-sourced map include details like this could help your community save time and choose the garage sales most aligned with their needs.
